When it comes to tying off your boat at the shore or stopping your kayak or paddle board a manual spike gives you all the control you need. The Heavy-duty (HD) spike is tough yet durable for holding smaller boats and the Ultra-lite (UL) spike is super lightweight but can hold kayaks, paddle boards, even Jon boats and small skiffs up to 1500 lbs. It’s a quick and easy way to put and keep your boat where you want it and with the Power-Pole name dependability is built-in.

- Great Purchase. A Review from a Seriously Casual Angler
I bought this for my father for his 68th birthday and also right before a week long vacation to the Florida coast. He was semi skeptical at first when I handed him what he essentially amounted to a “stick.” The Power Pole name tagged on the high quality handle, rope, and sleek design kept his attention though. The first morning, he left at dawn for a solo run on the flats in his 18ft Sea Pro CC with a bimini top. By 9am he was back at the dock yelling for me to run down and hop in the boat to go look at something. I did, and we headed out to the open flats of Little Gasparilla. He idled out to a nice grass flat, grabbed his Power Pole Spike and drove it into the grass/sand bottom with ease. Then he turned around with the look of a kid on Christmas morning and said “look at that! That thing holds this boat with the tide AND the wind pulling against us!” At that point, we both knew that the Power Pole HD Spike was one of the best purchases we’ve ever made for our boat.
- Lightweight and tough!
The ultralight spike is the real deal! Perfect combination with the micro system or can be used on its own as a pushpole and stake out pole. I have one on all my kayaks.
