What is the Difference between the Power-Pole™ Shallow Water Anchor Pro model and the Power-Pole™ Shallow Water Anchor Sportsman model?
*Note*Both the PRO and Sportsman Power-Pole Shallow Water Anchors come complete with everything necessary for a transom mount installation.
The Pro Series comes with a 5 year warranty and the Sportsman Series has a 3 year warranty.
The Pro Series Stealth Pump is significantly quieter than the Sportsman Pump.
The Pro series comes out of the box Remote Control ready whereas the Sportsman Series requires additional parts to become Remote Control compatible.
The Pro Series is coated with our proprietary five step American Marine Finish.
The Sportsman Series is available only in an Anodized finish.

What colors are available for the Power-Pole Shallow Water Anchors Pro & Sportsman?
The Power-Pole Shallow Water Anchor Pro 8 is available in black, white and gray.
The Power-Pole Shallow Water Anchor Pro 6 is available in black and white.
The Power-Pole Shallow Water Anchor Sportsman 6 & 8 are available in Anodized Silver.

Is the Remote Control compatible with both Power-Pole Shallow Water Anchor models?
Yes, the Remote Control is compatible with both the Sportsman and the Pro models. However, the Sportsman series requires the purchase of a Sportsman Remote control kit which includes the remote control and all the additional components required for compatability.

Can I add a remote control at a later date?
Yes, the Remote Control can be added at any time.

What is the effective range of the Remote control?
About 50ft, never leave your boat while using the Power-Pole™ Shallow Water Anchors as a primary anchor.

Do I have to use an adapter Plate?
No, adapter plates were originally designed for use when access to the through hull bolts or adequate transom space was not available, however, many anglers have found the adapter plates to be useful even though adequate space is available.

How do I decide which adapter plate is right for my boat?

How much does an install normally cost?
Price for installation varies from dealer to dealer and boat to boat, so we recommend calling your local dealer for installation pricing. find a dealer

Can I install the Power-Pole™ Shallow Water Anchor myself?
Yes, However one must possess the skills and tools necessary to complete the installation properly, therefore, we strongly recommend having your Power-Pole ™ Shallow Water Anchor installed by an authorized dealer.

What size boat can the Power-Pole™ Shallow Water Anchor be mounted on?
The vessel weight and size limits are as follows:

• Pro Series 6- up to 23ft. or 3000lbs.
• Pro Series 8- up to 26ft. or 3600lbs.
• Sportsman Series 6- up to 17ft. or 2000lbs.
• Sportsman Series 8-up to 20ft.or 2600lbs.
