return to topCan I operate two Power-Pole anchors off a single pump?
As the manufacturer, we recommend the use of independent pump systems with each Power-Pole anchor. Following are some reasons:
- Dual Power-Pole anchors will not deploy at the same time and/or same rate using one pump.
- The relief valves will not function according to the intended design of the Power-Pole anchor and may cause a mechanical failure when using only one pump system.
- Many features of our 2012 and newer models will not be functional when a single pump is used to operate dual Power-Pole anchors.
Furthermore, since damage is quite possible using one pump with two Power-Pole anchors, doing so will void all warranties. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact our technical support staff at 813-663-3999.
return to topDo Power-Pole Anchors with C-Monster require the use of the C-Monster App?
The C-Monster app is simply an added feature on all Pro Series II and Signature Series models, including the Blade Edition. It is not required for basic functionality. However, with the C-Monster app, some advanced functions are available such as fine tuning of speed and bottom sensing preferences. A smart phone is not required to operate the C-Monster system.
return to topDo you sell the older model Power-Pole anchors, or am I limited to the current models?
We only sell current models that have the latest improved hydraulics and operating systems. If you want to add a second Power-Pole anchor to match an existing older model, you have the option of upgrading your older model to be compatible with our current models. Call our sales or tech support staff for details. 813-689-9932.
return to topHow do I manually raise my Power-Pole anchor (assuming I need to)?
In the event of pump failure the Power-Pole shallow water anchor may be manually raised by applying enough pressure to bypass the pole protector valve thus allowing the unit to come all the way up to the stowed position. If the Power-Pole shallow water anchor is beyond reach it can be forced up by driving the boat forward to shallower water. Depressing the up button on the Power-Pole shallow water anchor control may offer assistance.DO NOT TOUCH THE SPIKE.
return to topI need more hydraulic fluid. Where can I purchase your hydraulic fluid?
We suggest you use Green Marine which is a non-toxic and biodegradable fluid. Green Marine can be purchased through any of our authorized dealers or here on our website As an alternative, any ISO32 hydraulic fluid or SAE10 oil can be used.
return to topDo I need two Power-Pole anchors to hold my boat?
No. A single Power-Pole anchor will stop and hold boats up to 4500 lbs. in most normal conditions of weather and/or tidal current. Once a single Power-Pole is deployed, the boat will eventually swing to a bow downwind or bow down current much like a weather-vane. By adding a second Power-Pole anchor, the effect of wind and current can be overcome, resulting in a much more precise positioning of the boat. Furthermore, the wider the deployment of the two Power-Pole anchors, the better the ability to precisely position the boat. One is always better than none.
